What is ReachMe?

ReachMe is an online tool that people can use to engage in paid 1:1 conversations with others. We believe that everyone has an expertise that is worth sharing and we want to make it as hassle-free as possible to share this expertise.

We distinguish between ReachMe experts (the call ‘provider’) and ReachMe users (the people requesting the call).

How does it work?

For Experts

After signing up, ReachMe experts follow a quick and intuitive 4-step setup process to create their individual profile page. There is no need to download any software, ReachMe is fully browser based.
Experts can add a short description about themselves, upload a picture and determine their availability and price per hour. Experts have the option to update their information at any time in their profile dashboard
In addition to that, Experts need to provide their payment information to our service provider Stripe
You are all set - copy the link to your profile page and let your network know that you are available on ReachMe
Once a user books a session with you, you will receive an email and need to confirm the session
You can find a calendar in your profile dashboard, with an overview of all upcoming user sessions. When the time comes to join a session, simply click on the provided dial-in link and your session starts right in your browser

For Users

Once you are on an Expert profile page, you can easily book a 1:1 session
Simply select a date and time that fits your schedule and choose your preferred checkout option
You will receive an email containing the dial-in information as soon as the ReachMe expert confirms the session. You can add the invite to your favorite calendar right from this email
When the time comes to join a session, simply click on the provided dial-in link and your session starts right in your browser

Who can become a ReachMe expert?

We believe that everyone can become a ReachMe expert. You might have some skills or some professional experience that is relevant for others (e.g. design, industry knowledge, sports, art, podcasting, startups, coding, sciences), work in a professional service domain and already earn your money with live sessions (therapists, consultants, lawyers, speakers, freelancers of all sorts), or have a large social following and are willing to monetize your time and get closer to your fans (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Youtube influencer).

You have to be at least 21 years old if you live in the US or at least 18 years old if you live in another country.

Can ReachMe calls be disputed?

Yes, if a call doesn’t take place without any upfront announcement or the call has just been set up to ‘fake’ the delivery of the agreed session, then users can contact ReachMe under [email protected] and we will dispute their claims with the ReachMe expert.

Are ReachMe calls recorded?

No. ReachMe calls are not recorded and are fully private. What you are discussing or streaming during your call stays absolutely between the expert and the user.

How do ReachMe experts get paid?

We use Stripe to handle our payment processing. Your fees will be transferred to your bank account within 2-3 business days after a successful call.

How much does it cost to use ReachMe?

For ReachMe experts, our service is free of charge. We just add an additional 10% on top of an expert’s hourly rate to cover payment processing costs and our service fees for providing the solution. There are no other fees or hidden costs. Users can see that our pricing is transparent and will see what additional charges are when they book a session with an expert.
